Tickets are Pre show £11.00 on the day £12.50

Children/OAP pre show £9.00 on the day £10.00 or family tickets pre show £32.00 on the day £38.00

Chatsworth Country Show is 3rd, 4th & 5th September & the cost is £13.00 on Friday & £15.00 on Saturday & Sunday. If you purchase your tickets online you get 10% discount. The good thing about this show is children under 14 years are free

Church Inn Chelmorton

The Church Inn at Chelmorton has put up a small marquee with a large screen for people to watch & enjoy the world cup matches. The feed back has been very good & I have been told the atmosphere is excellent, children are welcome, the marquee is decorated with England flags & there are plenty of seats. It is only a 30 minutes pleasant walk from the site or a 5 minute drive.

Yesterday wifi was installed on our site! Although we paid for the installation of the system for the convenience of our guests, there will be a charge to the internet service provider.

On Saturday 15th May, Buxton Opera House plays host to an evening of pop, disco, soul & reggae with Boogie night. Rose Royce hit the disco era with Car wash, Love don’t live here anymore, wishing on a star & wanna get next to you. Heatwave is also performing. Think I’ll go to this myself!

Welcome to the new ‘Blog’ for Beech Croft Farm Caravan Park and Camping Site. This new feature aims to offer visitors to our website (and campsite!) useful information and features about the site and forthcoming events.

We are full for caravans for the May Day bank holiday weekend & the Spring bank holiday weekend but we still have availability for tents without electric hook up.

Hope Show, which is a popular agricultural show with dog trials etc. is always held on August Bank Holiday and Chatsworth Country Show will be held on the 3rd – 5th September 2010.

Back at Beech Croft, lambing this year starts inl March.

These are the first new born lambs, this season. we are lambing 20 at the moment but the rest start lambing on 9th April. I hope some of our visitors get to see them being born.

The application for the new toilet/shower block was granted but the weather is holding up the building work, which has to be completed before the new season begins. We are keeping fingers crossed that it doesn’t get put on hold until the season ends in November. I’d like all our visitors to have brand new plush heated facilities.

Unfortunately the building of the new toilet block has to be put on hold until Autumn 2010. The snow held off the builders making it impossible to finish in time for Easter. We are extremely disappointed.

The second application was turned down but we are going to fight it, this was to move some of the caravans in to the top field, & to put some tent pitches into the adjoining meadow. We are not increasing numbers we just want to give everyone more space

Another popular feature of the farm/site are our Horses. We have five horses of our own…

Sky is 7 years old, big and bolshy! We bred him and he is full of confidence. He belongs to our daughter Jodie and his breed is a Welsh Cob section D.

Brodie belongs to me and is my pride and joy! She is a Scottish Highland … a hormonal moody mare, but we get on extremely well. She has been known to kick and bite people she doesn’t know but the way to her heart is through her belly!

Riddick (the little white one) is a friendly little chap who is very sweet!

Angel is the big Bay Mare. Very quiet and gentle, she is mother to Miya – the coloured filly.

Miya was born on the farm 3 years ago and regular visitors to the site have enjoyed watching her grow! She is beautiful and is best friends with Riddick.
